On 24. - 27. June, STARS & FRIENDS agency organized a top camp for players 14 - 17 years old. These amazing 4 days spent in the beautiful nature of Tatras left us with an enormous amount of positivity and emotion and we are hopeful the boys felt the same. We met up at the place of our stay, a beautiful family resort CEDER in Tatranská Lomnica.
39 talented players from many different clubs, 8-person organization team and many special guests. Friday was dedicated to relaxation, the boys enjoyed some time in the pool, wellness and some traditional cuisine. Later in the day, Dominik Greif, the goal-keeper for RCD Mallorca payed us a visit. He told us all about his football beginnings, his career and injuries. The boys were very curious and Dominik happily answered all of their questions. It was a nice, satisfying discussion full of important information. Dominik also joined us for a hike to Skalnaté pleso. There were also lectures for the boys given by sport nutrition specialist Matej Suchárek and skilled physiotherapist Peter Spišiak, who tended to the boys throughout the whole stay. The presentation mostly talked about preventing injuries, regeneration and specific injuries. Saturday night was spent at a big festive feast. Great food, nice atmosphere, conversations and a lot of fun. We also got a visit from Juraj Kucka and the discussion was very nourishing. Photo and autograph session with the boys was also a great experience.
The boys also had a training at a football field situated in the beautiful scenery of Tatranská Lomnica, after which the relaxed for a bit so they could fully aim their focus at a media workshop with Braňo Závodský, journalist from Rádio Expres. The football world is not only about the field or the ball and information regarding the media is also very important for the boys. Journalists, interviews, press conferences, paparazzi and the media are all things the players deal with throughout their careers and it is important to be prepared for it.
The camp was concluded by the agency owner Karol Csontó. He wouldn`t miss a meeting with the boys for the world, even if he was extremely busy. No one could talk so well about the life of our agency, football, scouts and agents.
Everything was captured by the professional photographer Tomáš Mlynárik and there is no doubt the photographs are going to be great. We were leaving our stay very satisfied, filled with amazing experiences and good mood. Other than love for football, we are brought together by a lot of other things. Hard work, determination and friendship. That`s how we are in our agency, and that is who our players are. We`re looking forward to the 2023 Camp, but mostly to our time together on this football journey.
