Karol Csontó, agent: "The logical outcome of Matúš's very good performances in Vitesse was to move forward. Offers came from several markets, but the priority in his case was Germany or England. In the end, the decision was made for the German club VfL Bochum, with which we signed a contract for 3 years." He also added: "Just today, Matúš underwent medical tests and will join the club as soon as possible. We wish Matúš all the best on his new football journey."

And what does Matúš say about the new chapter? "It is an honor for me to become a part of Bochum. I really appreciate this opportunity and I will do everything to give my best."
