In Saturday’s match (31 January 2026) between Watford FC and Swansea City, our player Marko Stamenić once again delivered an excellent performance. The fixture was part of the English EFL Championship, the second tier of English football.
At Vicarage Road, Marko opened the scoring in the 55th minute, breaking the deadlock with a well-taken goal. He then added an assist, as his pass in the 80th minute found Josh Key, who made it 0–2 and secured three valuable points for Swansea.
Following this win, Swansea City sit in 15th place in the Championship table for the 2025/26 season, placing the club in mid-table as they aim to collect as many points as possible toward safety and a potential push higher in the second half of the campaign.
Marko Stamenić once again confirmed his importance to the team—not only with his goal and assist, but also through his overall approach on the pitch. His performance ranks among Swansea’s most impressive individual displays this season and played a key role in the victory against a strong opponent.
